FRAT
The
Federation of Residents’ Associations,
Thiruvananthapuram - popularly called FRAT - is
the apex body of more than 800 registered
residents' associations functioning in the
district. Established as a voluntary organization
in 1993, FRAT has been successfully engaged in
activities aimed at the general welfare of the
populace and the overall development of the
capital. It acts as a coordinator between the
public and the Government in matters that warrant
the urgent attention of the authorities. |

FRAT is the acronym for Federation of Residents’ Associations Thiruvananthapuram. It is an entity under whose umbrella the member associations stand united for the accomplishment of specific tasks necessitated by situations arising out of the laxity or apathy of the powers that be in ensuring civic rights.
