MOBILE BLOOD BANK - 07.01.2011

FRAT demanded the State Govt. to allot the Mobile Blood Bank given by the Central Govt. (NACO), to the capital district Thiruvananthapuram.

The Mobile unit has facility to collect Blood from 4 donors at a time. Since lot of patients are coming from all over the State and outside, for treatment at the Regional Cancer Centre, Sree Chitra Thirunal Institute of Medical Science and Medical College, these sort of facilities should be made available here. The President and General Secretary urged the State Govt. to reconsider the decision taken without proper discussion, to allot the unit to the Kozhikode Medical College.
